Howdy, y'all.

Howdy, y'all.

Kyle Sockwell

You're probably wondering what this is, and I won't waste your time with a long explanation.

This is the next evolution of Sockwell Swim Club. Sockwell Swim Club started as a merch store created to help me (Kyle Sockwell) pursue swimming media full-time and help you invest in that dream as well. Over time, however, it became something I wasn’t very proud of, to be completely honest.

When a project starts to feel like something you’re not proud of, it often becomes something you don’t want to spend time on either. As I spent less and less time on merch and caps, the requests for more items grew louder. I ignored them for a while, simply because I was spread too thin - until I teamed up with fellow "swammer" Miles Kredich to create something we were both proud of.

The name Heat One / Heat 1 came at the very end of our creative process. We tossed around name after name, logo after logo, and right before we were about to give up, we landed on Heat One. Now, depending on how your swim meets are structured, Heat One could be the fastest or the slowest heat. Honestly, we don't care which one it is - we care about one thing:

It has kicked off the first event at every meet in history... Heat One sets the tone.

While we're not 100% certain what Heat One Swim Club will become, we do know what we plan for it to be in the short term:

High Quality Swimming Products

High Quality Swimming Content

High Quality Engaging "Swammer" Workout Programs

High Quality Event Promotion

We already have some incredible things in the works, and, as with everything we'll put the Heat One name on in the future, our goal will always be to help more people have more fun in the sport of swimming.

Thanks for reading, y'all. Let's keep making this sport more fun than ever.
